The Florence Rutherford scrapbook is a North Carolina College for Women Memory Book with materials dating from 1925 to 1927. The scrapbook contains photographs, event programs, tickets, table cards, invitations, permission cards, greeting cards, correspondence, newspaper clippings, miscellaneous cut-outs, report cards, ribbon, napkins, candy wrappers, stamps and party memorabilia. Among its programs are the 1927 Annual Commencement, Class Day Exercises, and Baccalaureate Sermon programs.

Florence Rutherford of Biltmore, North Carolina was a student of the North Carolina College for Women (now The University of North Carolina at Greensboro), graduating in 1928 with a Bachelor's degree in English.
